That’s the final deadline for submissions to this fall’s LaunchBox Digital class in Durham, NC. If you missed the early deadline in May, you have just a few days left!
If you don’t know what LaunchBox is about or why you should submit, check out LaunchBox’s Site for all the background. Very simply, Launchbox is an accelerator that gives you the Funding, Mentoring, and Connections to get your idea off the ground, fast. And that support can be vital in scoring media coverage and venture funding down the road.
I’m sure you already have loads of great ideas and business plans ready to go, and your powerpoint decks are razor sharp….but in case you need some inspiration, here are a few of my favorite members of past LaunchBox classes:
- Legal River – Efficient attorney search
- Bands in Town – Custom concert info
- Unblab – Efficient email management (& great name)
- SEC Watch – User-friendly SEC document access
- Zadby – Viral video + product placement
Have a look at the full classes from 2008 and 2009 and perhaps you’ll find the inspiration you need to get you “apps” in.
