TechJournal South is hosting their Triangle area get together next week on Thursday October 18th from 5:30-9:30 at the Durham Centre Building.

The event draws a few hundred members of the information technology and biotechnology sectors. The crowd tends to be a good mix of people involved with web technology, biotech, and some industrial technologies, along with everyone’s favorite, the VC’s. The sponsors are a nice variety of “establishment” businesses, led by Craig Davis Properties, a commercial real estate firm, and upstarts such as the Web 2.0 company Tastevine, a site dedicated to connecting wine enthusiasts with the right bottle.
